Sourdough has great gut health benefits and is fairly simple to make. I teach the basics in my workshops and the education can help you transform a variety of foods to healthier versions with benefits! To name a few… pizza, bagels, muffins, breads, tortillas, pancakes, cookies, brownies, cornbread, popovers. If we are going to eat them, we might as well get some benefits!!
Homemade sourdough vs. storebought has less ingredients with more protein, more fiber and less sugar. Often times, packaged breads also contain chemicals & other unhealthy ingredients.
My starters are made from 100+ year old glyphosate free flakes.
Good gut health is essential for good overall health. Cellular repair needs good gut microbiome to prevent disease, anxiety, cancer and more. Sourdough and other fermented foods help aid us in the process of good gut building.
In addition to workshops, I provide starter to those who are local. For those that are farther away, I provide starter flake packets.
